Commissioner Speaks to Federation of Boca Homeowner Association

On August 4, 2009, Commissioner Steven Abrams spoke to members of The Federation of Boca Raton Homeowner Associations at their monthly meeting. The Federation represents more than 30 homeowner associations in Boca Raton. Commissioner Abrams discussed the county’s current budgetary challenges and his commitment to cut spending. He also spoke in favor of the recent initiative to reinstate public trust in county government and the creation of the anti-corruption inspector general proposal, including his support for a competitive bidding process for bond underwriting and the elimination of discretionary funds.
