Commissioner Kanjian Visits with Lake Worth Community High School Political Science Club Members

On September 17th, Commissioner Bob Kanjian accepted a request of Clint Kovach, Head Basketball Coach and Adult Leader of the Lake Worth Community High School Political Science Club, to address students on the scope of County government, its policies, procedures and budget.

Commissioner Kanjian also discussed how students and families could be involved in the process of policy making and how to support the people and issues of concern to them. A question and answer session followed the presentation in which the students showed great interest in future political involvement. Commissioner Kanjian was greatly encouraged by the student’s interest in becoming future leaders and policy makers.
