On September 18th, Commissioner Bob Kanjian attended the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the four-story EcoPlex green office building in the Centrepark West complex in West Palm Beach.  Commissioner Kanjian is the chairman of the County’s “Going Green Task Force for Environmental Sustainability and Conservation” that will meet for the first time later today.

The EcoPlex is an environmentally friendly 100,526- square-foot Class “A” high performance office building.  It is designed to achieve a Silver LEED rating, a mark of environmental accomplishment.  The building features maximum energy and operating efficiency and realizes a savings of more than two million gallons of water annually.
