Commissioner Presents Proclamation at Boca Raton Elementary School

On October 13, 2009, Commissioner Abrams presented a proclamation to Palm Beach County Health Department Director Dr. Alina Alonso at Boca Raton Elementary School declaring October 11 - 17 as “Influenza Vaccination Week.”  The proclamation, following recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and local health officials, strongly encourages all residents, especially children and parents, to receive an annual seasonal flu vaccination.
