On October 22, 2009, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) did not adopt proposed amendments for places of worship. Instead, staff was directed to convene a public meeting with interested parties to explain the proposed provisions and listen to residents’ concerns.
This public meeting is scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2009, 9-11 a.m., at the Planning, Zoning, and Building Department in the Vista Center Complex, 2300 North Jog Road, West Palm Beach, first floor, Room VC-1W-47-Hearing Room. Vista Center is located on the east side of Jog Road approximately one-half mile north of Okeechobee Boulevard just west of the turnpike.
