Transfer of Development Rights Zoning in Progress

At a public hearing on September 29, 2009, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) declared Zoning in Progress. This is being implemented in order to support a moratorium the BCC intends to adopt.

Transfer of development rights (TDRs) and the prices charged for them are discretionary. In order for the BCC to evaluate the program and costs of TDRs, and to implement amended regulations and costs, notice is being given that no applications for TDRs will be accepted until the evaluation and implementation of amended regulations and/or costs occurs.
