Ribbon Cutting Thursday in Wellington for Palm Tran’s New Park and Ride Lot

Together with officials from the Village of Wellington and the Florida Department of Transportation, Palm Tran will host a ceremonial ribbon cutting in Wellington on Thursday, November 5, at 10 a.m., to celebrate the establishment of a new park and ride lot, which opens to commuters on Monday, November 9.

Commuters from the western areas of Palm Beach County will be able to park their cars at the lot and ride a modified, limited-stop express Route 40 bus into downtown West Palm Beach or out to the Lake Communities.
