PALM BEACH COUNTY TRAFFIC DIVISION UPDATE OF
ROAD AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION LIST

1. LOCATION: Donald Ross Rd. from 64th Drive North to 69^th Drive North and Jog Rd. from south of Hood Rd. to Donald Ross Rd. (east of the city of Palm Beach Gardens)

DESCRIPTION: Reconstruction of Donald Ross Rd., widening existing Jog Rd. at Hood Rd. and new Jog. Rd. construction to the north.

RESTRICTIONS: Traffic has been moved to the ultimate location between 69th Drive North and 64th Drive North. It will be a divided roadway. Landscaping work will take place at two of the roundabouts.

2. LOCATION: Hypoluxo Rd. from U.S. 441 (SR 7) to Hagen Ranch Rd. (west of the City of Boynton Beach)

DESCRIPTION: Construction of a new bridge and connecting roadway over the Florida Turnpike.

RESTRICTIONS: All lanes are open to traffic; however, periodic lane closures may occur.

3. LOCATION Okeechobee Blvd. from Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd. to east of Crestwood Blvd. (Town of Loxahatchee Groves and Village of Royal Palm Beach)

DESCRIPTION: Underground utility work.

RESTRICTIONS: There may be alternating traffic from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the use of flaggers. The contractor will be working Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

4. LOCATION:         Elmhurst Rd. from Haverhill Rd. to Military Trail (north of the Town of Haverhill)

DESCRIPTION:       Pavement markings.

RESTRICTIONS:    Flaggers will be controlling traffic.

5. LOCATION:         Cleary Rd. from Pioneer Rd. to Dillman Rd. (north of the City of Greenacres)

DESCRIPTION:       Pavement markings.

RESTRICTIONS:    Flaggers will be controlling traffic.

6. LOCATION: Hypoluxo Rd. from Jog Rd. to Military Trail (west of the City of Boynton Beach)

DESCRIPTION: Construction of a 6-lane divided roadway from the existing 4-lanes.

RESTRICTIONS: There will be periodic lane closures Monday through Friday 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

7. LOCATION: Forest Hill Blvd. and S.R. 7 (Village of Wellington)

DESCRIPTION: Intersection improvements.

RESTRICTIONS: There may be periodic lane closures from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

8. LOCATION: Old Boynton Rd. from Congress Ave. to Boynton Beach Blvd. (City of Boynton Beach)

DESCRIPTION: Road widening and bridge replacement.

RESTRICTIONS: Old Boynton Rd. is closed to all traffic at the E-4 canal. The E-4 Canal is located halfway between Congress Ave. and Boynton Beach Blvd. The road will remain closed through November 2009. Traffic will be detoured via: Boynton Beach Blvd. and Congress Ave. At the intersection of Congress Ave. and Old Boynton Rd. there will be right lane closures for the north, south and east bound traffic.

9. LOCATION: Congress Ave. from 26th St. to south of Blue Heron Blvd. (City of Riviera Beach)

DESCRIPTION: Widening of the existing roadway.

RESTRICTIONS: One lane southbound will be closed from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

10. LOCATION: Hatton Highway from one mile north of S.R. 80 to one mile south of S.R. 80 (east of the City of Belle Glade)

DESCRIPTION: Pavement markings.

RESTRICTIONS: Flaggers will be controlling traffic.

11. LOCATION: Okeechobee Blvd. from Royal Palm Beach High School to east of the Florida Turnpike (Village of Royal Palm Beach and City of West Palm Beach)

DESCRIPTION: Construction of an 8-lane divided road from the existing 6-lane.

RESTRICTIONS: There will be lane closures Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

12. LOCATION: Alt. A1A (SR 811) from Donald Ross Rd. to Center St. (Town of Jupiter)

DESCRIPTION: Reconstruction of 4 lane divided roadway to 6 lane divided roadway.

RESTRICTIONS: There will be intermittent lane closures from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

13. LOCATION: Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd. from SR 80 to south of Okeechobee Blvd. (west of the Town of Loxahatchee Groves)

DESCRIPTION: Clearing and underground utility work.

RESTRICTIONS: No traffic delays expected; however, trucks may be entering or exiting the roadway.

14. LOCATION: Lyons Rd. from Glades Rd. to Yamato Rd. (west of the City of Boca Raton)

DESCRIPTION: Construction of a 6-lane divided roadway from the existing 4-lanes.

RESTRICTIONS: There will be lane closures north and southbound Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

15. LOCATION: Jog Rd. at the Boynton Beach Canal/south of Gateway Blvd. (west of the City of Boynton Beach)

DESCRIPTION: Canal bank maintenance

RESTRICTIONS: Flaggers will assist maintenance trucks to access the canal right-of-way.
