Description:
Yoga is an ancient discipline of posture which provides strength, flexibility, balance, and overall body conditioning. In addition to physical training, yoga also calms the mind through meditation and breath control. It balances the left and right hemispheres of the brain to promote whole brain thinking. In addition, yoga strengthens the nervous system. No special equipment is necessary other than loose comfortable clothing and a yoga mat and/or towel.

Description:
The Yoga Challenge module has been highly fine tuned over the years to especially stimulate the children’s interest and excitement, while encouraging all to participate. This program will initiate individuals into a new, exciting way to exercise through basic, intermediate, and advanced yoga postures and positions. They will learn good health exercises while having fun and have the chance to demonstrate to the group their own unique talents and abilities.  This part of the class is the most exciting and concludes each session.
