History in the Park at Riverbend Park Archeological Discoveries at Fort Jupiter. Free Demonstration. For immediate release: November 18, 2009 Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department will provide a guided walking tour of the Second Seminole War Battlefields in Riverbend Park on Saturday, December 5, 2009, starting at 10:00 am. Local historian and author Richard Procyk will speak about the archeological discoveries of the Fort Jupiter Encampment found in the mid 1980s. Comfortable shoes, lawn chairs, bug spray, sunscreen, raingear, and bottled water are recommended. Program is FREE and reservations are recommended.
