VSA arts Holiday Showcase For immediate release: November 6, 2009 Join us to celebrate the season! The VSA arts Holiday Showcase, Holiday Dreamin’, will feature seasonal performances by children and adults with disabilities on Saturday, December 5 at 2:00 pm at the Duncan Theatre @ Palm Beach Community College in Lake Worth. This two-hour tribute to dance and music is an opportunity for people with and without disabilities to share their talents with the community. The showcase will be hosted by Tiffany Kenney from WPBF News Channel 25. Donna Tucci’s School of Dance Dreams Come True dancers will open the show with an inspiring performance to ABBA’s “I Have A Dream.” The showcase will feature Palm Beach County Therapeutic Recreation’s new Hip Hop Dance Group. Helping to celebrate the season are violinist Elizabeth Torres as well as local vocalists Coleman Judd and Jay Hutton. The SpotLighters, a VSA arts song and dance performance group, will rock to the classic “Old Time Rock & Roll.” VSA arts dance residency students from Forest Hill Elementary School will perform a colorful Bollywood dance to the Cheetah Girls’ “One World.” Returning Special Arts Ensemble dancers from Southern Dance Theater will close the show with an awesome Blues Brothers medley performance. Tickets, $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors, may be purchased at the door or reserved by calling (561) 966-7025. VSA arts is an international non-profit organization dedicated to promoting artistic excellence and providing educational opportunities through the arts for people with disabilities.
