The Graphics section is the winner of the Palm Beach County Golden Palm Team Award and continues to earn numerous other awards to its credit for outstanding publications, including citations from the National Association of Counties (NACo), Ad Club of the Palm Beaches, City-County Communications & Marketing Association (FGCA). Graphics has been featured in numerous national trade magazine and local newspaper articles.
Writing and Editing
Graphics staff, augmented by other writers from the Public Affairs Department, are available to assist in writing and editing Palm Beach County informational materials.
Graphic Design
Staff designers provide print publication layout, typesetting, conventional illustration, digital illustration and digital photographic retouching.
Printing and Bindery
Two state-of-the-art two-color presses, designed for multicolor work increase Graphics' capabilities and reduce turn-around time. Printing materials range in size from 2" x 3" to 19" x 26". Skilled bindery technicians offer services that include cutting, folding, padding, collating, numbering, stapling, drilling, die cutting, perforating, foil stamping, embossing and plastic spiral bindery.
Photocopying Services
The Copy Center, located at the Governmental Center, 301 North Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach offers quick and courteous photocopying services that include everything from single copies to books with tabs on a wide variety of paper stocks. Color copier services are also available from the Graphics section printing office at 1701 S. Jog Road, Greenacres, FL 33415.
