The first page of the document shows the date the ordinance proposal was last revised.  For example it will read “As of 8/21/2008”. The 8/21/08 version is the third revision to be posted on our website.

The Board of County Commissioners reviewed proposed revisions informally at 2 workshop sessions in April and May, 2008.  Some changes were recommended and have been made.  The Vehicle for Hire Task Force has reviewed and has recommended approval of the Ordinance by the Board of County Commissioners.

The Ordinance is being considered for “First Reading” by the Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, September 9, 2008.  County Commission Board meetings are held on the 6th Floor of the County Governmental Center at: 301 North Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach.  If the Board approves the recommendation, the Ordinance is scheduled to be heard again at a full public hearing and “Final Reading” on Tuesday, September 23, 2008.
